Our LocationsIn 2003 we first opened up in Cambridge with 3 apartments. We now have 70 apartments in 8 central locations. In November 2011 we opened up in The City of London, a short walk to the main central business district and easy access to Canary Wharf on the DLR. Then, for your leisure time many of London's biggest attractions are only a short walk away, e.g. The Tower of London. Access Statement for Your Space Apartments - Meadowcroft
Introduction
Your Space Apartments provide an ideal base for your business or leisure stay in the city. The following statement is for our 2 bedroom Meadowcroft apartments. For details on our other locations or if you have any specific questions please feel free to call us and we will endeavour to assist.
Pre-Arrival
• Our website can be accessed at www.yourspaceapartments.com
• Booking and availability checks can be made via the website, telephone or email.
• The nearest train station (Cambridge) is located 1.9 miles away and there are accessible taxis at the station.
• The coach and bus station is 1.7 miles away and again has accessible taxis.
• There are many central bus routes in the area with stops all within a 5 minute walk.
Arrival and Car Parking Facilities
• There is allocated parking behind the security gate on the car park. Each apartment has got 1 parking space.
• All guests are met personally by a member of Your Space Apartments staff.
• Our staff will happily assist with luggage.
• The surface is of gravel-parking bays and pathway with pavement leading to the main entrance door.
Main Entrance & Reception
• The main entrance is 90cm wide. Access is via a key pad system which is 1.5m high.
• There is no main reception area as all guests are met personally and shown to their apartment.
• There is a communal hall area with post-boxes.
• The apartments are accessed via stairs (No.3, 4, 6 and 7).
• Wheelchair access is for apartments (No.1 and 2).
• The stairs are 90cm wide with the railing on both sides at 90cm high. Stairs are carpeted with short pile carpet.
Public Areas – General
There are public corridors on each level with short pile carpet. The corridor on the ground floor is tiled..
Outdoor Facilities
There is a shared garden with a non swimming pool. Apartments (No.1 and 2) have outdoor table and chairs. Access via patio door.
Apartments
• All apartments are of a similar design. They are accessed via door 90cm wide.
• The kitchen/living areas are all open plan.
• Worktop height 90cm.
• Washer/dryer is located underneath the work surface.
• Dishwasher door is drop down.
• Oven door is drop down.
• Sink is 90cm high.
• Hob is 90cm high and electric.
• Flooring is wooden laminate.
• Lighting is either central or under units.
• Fridge freezer 50/50
• Light switches are 1,05m high.
Bedrooms
• Have a selection of double and single divan beds and wooden frame double and single beds.
• Non feather duvets are provided.
• Pillows are a mix of feather and man-made.
• Bed linen is cotton.
• Flooring is short-pile carpet.
Bathroom
• The main bathroom consists of a bath, hand basin, toilet, and a shower which is over the bath and has a glass screen which pivots for entry. The en suite consist of shower, hand basin and the toilet.
• The flooring is tiled.
• Light switches are 1.05m high.
