Your Space Apartments are finalists in the regional tourism awards

Your Space Apartments, the largest provider of serviced accommodation in Cambridge, recently attended the finalists’ dinner of the 2010 regional Enjoy England Awards for Excellence.

The company made the shortlist for the Self Catering Category and the Your Space team were out in force at the black tie event at Ickworth House on 4th November.

Judges in the self catering category were looking for establishments that had boosted business by making the most of their distinctive appeal. To become a finalist, Your Space had to impress them across a number of criteria, including commitment to excellent accommodation, high standards of customer service, care for the environment and innovative business ideas.

Director Suzanne Emerson said, “We were delighted to be short listed for this award and to meet so many other good businesses doing exciting tourism work across East Anglia. 

“Ever since we started Your Space, we’ve always striven to be the very best in our field. We like to think that our welcome and levels of service are exceptional.

“When we began, our apartments were almost exclusively rented by businesses, but tourists and leisure travellers are becoming an increasingly large part of our market. 

“Serviced apartments offer a cheaper, more flexible alternative to hotels and families in particular like the freedom they offer. Our serviced apartments are a home from home. 

“We supply Welcome Packs to enable customers to relax after their journey and can arrange other services such as bike hire, airport collection and shopping brought to the fridge. Many people find them a much more relaxing alternative to the slightly more regimented approach that hotels inevitably have to adopt.

“All our apartments are well positioned to offer excellent access to the many delights of Cambridge and the surrounding areas, and of course guests can cook, sleep and come and go entirely as they please.”
